Perched on the top of the hill-fort is a small temple in ruins. This temple belongs to Maruthi. If you go down the several hundred steps of the fort, you will reach Yadravi village which is referred to as ‘Elarame’, in an inscription found on a platform near the Bharamappa Temple of the village. The inscription is dated Shaka 901 in the Hindu calendar.
Parasgad Fort is uninhabited and you can see remains of old houses within the precincts.
