The Ravadurg Gooty Fort is

The Ravadurg Gooty Fort is one of the oldest hill forts of Andhra Pradesh. The fort structure replicates a shell. The fort is full of inscribed walls, pillars and doors.

Its earliest inscription dates back to the 7th century. The fort inscriptions call this fort 'Gadha', while the other refers to it as the 'King of Forts'. Mir Jumla conquered the fort, however, it was soon taken over by Haider Ali in 1773. The fort was ultimately taken over by the British, by defeating Tipu Sultan in 1799.

Ramagundam Dam

Ramagundam Dam is a reservoir located in Ramagundam in the state of Telangana. Promoted by Telenga Tourism, the dam and the surrounding area are well maintained. It is a vast picturesque area. One can enjoy the sunrise or sunset views or take a walk by the bridge.

Nizamabad Fort, also known as Nizamabad Quilla

Nizamabad Fort, also known as Nizamabad Quilla, is a fort in Nizamabad in the Indian state of Telangana. It was built in 10th century by Rashtrakuta Kings and is situated in the southwest of the city. which is 2 kilometers from Gandhi Chowk. The Jagannath Temple, also known as Qilla Ramalayam
Originally known as Indoor or Indrapuri, the city and fort were built by the Rashtrakutas. There is a 40 feet high monolithic victory pillar built during the Rashtrakuta reign. The fort was occupied by Allauddin Khilji in 1311 A.D. quilla-ramalayam-nizamabad
The temple is visited by thousands of devotees during Sri Rama Navami day which falls in April. DichpallyRamalayam is situated 160 km from Hyderabad just off the Nizamabad-Hyderabad Highway and is 8 km away from Nizamabad city

Palair Lake

Palair Lake is a man made lake and a major source of freshwater in the Khammam district of Telangana, India.

The lake lies about 30 km from the main city and is easily accessible by road. This man-made lake is actually a balancing reservoir for the left canal, called the Lal Bahadur Canal, built as part of the Nagarjunasagar project.

Mylavaram Dam

Mylavaram Dam is a medium irrigation project in Andhra Pradesh, India. This barrage is located across the Penna river in Kadapa district near Mylavaram.

The Mobile Tomb of Machilipatnam

At the St. Mary’s Church in Machilipatnam, visitors can see the tomb’s cover panel near the Preacher’s pulpit. The Mobile Tomb of Machilipatnam was kept for public viewing for a long time but an unfortunate incident when a viewer died of shock on viewing the embalmed body resulted in the lever being sealed. Thus ended the opportunity for visitors to see the body of the woman who charmed the humble soldier centuries ago.
portugueseToday, apart from this tomb, efforts are on to protect the Dutch, the British and the French cemeteries in and around the port city. The cemeteries are spread over five acres and date back to the 16th and 17th centuries.
Another European tomb built by the East India Company near St. John burial ground in Machilipatnam dates back to the 17th century AD and has been recognized as a protected monument. Other ancient structures at Machilipatnam include the Collector’s Bungalow and the Collector’s office and record room. There is also a cyclone tidal wave monument near the Bandar Fort which was constructed by the District Collector, G Thorn Hill in memory of thirty thousand people who perished in a tidal wave that struck Machilipatnam on November 1, 1864.

Mandasa Fort, Andhra

The past glory of Manjusha, which had a very important place in the Kalinga era, is evident even today, through oriya books and documents available with libraries and individuals. Also known as Mandasa, it is a very old princely house, the first Raja of Manjusha being, Raja Vaman Singh Deo, a Rajpurajahmundry1t from the North, who
established the Kingdom in 1206 A.D. It is said that he gave up his
kingdom to his uncle in the North of India and came to the Mahendra
Hills for penance and established the kingdom of Manjusha thereafter.
Legend has it that while doing penance, 
Manjusha or Mandasa was originally in Ganjam District of Madras Presidency. Later on it became a part of Vizag District of Madras Presidency when Orissa was formed in 1936. Today, Mandasa is in Srikakulam District of Andhra Pradesh.
Manjusha has great religious and mythological importance. It is believed that the Pandavas, during the course of their wanderings, stayed in the Mahendra Giri Hills for some time. Indian mythology indicates that Hanuman jumped from the Mahendra Giri Peak to Lanka when he went in search of Sita Devi. Mahendra Giri was also the abode of the ancient sage, Parasurama.

Madduvalasa  also supports important biodiversity, both flora and fauna. Given the perennial flow of water , the reservoir has developed into a habitat for diverse animals and plants.
Many birds have been spotted in the vicinity and Madduvalasa is of great interest to ornithologists and birdwatchers. Tourists can capture exotic birds on their cameras. Rare species such as Darter and large flocks of Tufted Ducks showing some morphological variance such as ducks with rudimentary tuft or without any tuft were observed here. In fact, the Nagavalli River mouth and its surrounding environs are ecologically sensitive areas and are nesting grounds of the endangered Olive Ridley turtles.

Kurupam Tomb, Viza.

The 100 year old Tomb near beach was built in memory of Rani of Kurapam. Its architectural style is spectacular with an amalgamation of the sikara and the dome in the same monument the structure has carvings of the Acanthus leaf, deities and floral motifs.

Kurupam Tomb, which has some intricate carvings on sandstone with Dravidian, Mughal, European, and North Indian culture and styles reflecting in them, is facing a grave danger from apartment complexes being constructed alongside allegedly in violation of Coastal Regulation Zone norms.

Kondavid Fort, Guntur district

Kondaveedu Fort is located in Kondaveedu village in the Chilakaluripet constituency of Guntur district, Andhra Pradesh, India. It is a hill fortress located 1,700 feet above m.s.l. Apart from this main fort, there are two other forts nearby.

The Telugu Ganga project also provides irrigation with its canals in Andhra Pradesh. it has an earth dam of about 12 km long. Gross storage capacity of the reservoir is 72TMC’s
It is the world’s biggest earth dam with 68 TMC of water storage.

Gotta Barrage, built across the Vamsadhara River near Heeramandalam, 
Gotta Barrage is about 45 km from Srikakulam District, which is located at the extreme northeastern side of Andhra Pradesh. River Vamsadhara rises in the Eastern Ghats of Orissa state, entering Srikakulam District in Bhamini Mandal and finally enters the Bay of Bengal near Kalingapatnam.

Godavari Rail Road Bridge is a work of art. It is a truss bridge that spans Godavari River in Rajahmundry, Andhra Pradesh. One of the longest rail road bridges to cross a water body, it is the second of three bridges that stretches over Godavari River.
The Godavari Rail Road Bridge is 2.7 kilometers long and has a road deck over the single track rail deck, similar to the Grafton Bridge in New South Wales, Australia.
This Rail Cum Road Bridge is longest of its kind in Asia and second longest in the world.Its total lenght 4.732 Kms (4732 mts). Finished in 1972 and inaugurated by the then Prime Minister Indira Gandhi, its total construction cost is 63 crores in those days.
