You could also take a boat ride on the reservoir as the Tourism Promotion Council provides boats. There is a pretty park and garden where you could enjoy a laid-back stroll or picnic on the lawns. The park has some lovely sculptures too. Close by you can see a statue of the legendary Pazhassi Raja. In case you’d like to stay over, there is accommodation at the Project Inspection Bungalow.
