Hidkal Dam, Hukeri, Karnataka.
Hukkeri is a Town Municipal Council and taluka in Belgaum district in the Indian state of Karnataka. The dam has been constructed across Ghataprabha River and attracts not only tourists but also archaeologists. This is because fossils have been found in the areas surrounding the dam. The dam irrigates an approximate area of 13400 hc.
